Meet the founder
Chris is a two-time founder. He founded One Step After, an estate planning and settlement software company that helps families navigate some of the hardest moments in life, and Fulgur Forge, where he brings the same product thinking to small businesses that want AI working for them.
Before founding, Chris was the procurement director for a major North American ski company, responsible for OpEx sourcing, and head of operations for two startups in the agriculture industry. His specialty has always been the same: reviewing how work gets done, making it more efficient, and cutting operating spend.
Fulgur Forge started while building out AI capabilities for One Step After. As the automations stacked up, the lawyers and business owners Chris spoke with kept bringing up the same thing: they needed help building out their own use of AI. Small businesses were being left behind, so he built the company that brings them along.
Chris is a Colorado native and a Broomfield local. He grew up loving the mountains, maintains a Colorado native species garden, and spends the rest of his time with his wife and their two-year-old.
